2nd Annual Ugly Fabric Challenge

Well I thought I would try the Ugly Fabric Contest again. It was fun. This time I decided to make a pillow. Would you believe I won a gift card for the novelty category. I did not take any pictures. But my pillow is being displayed at the store for a month and can be seen on the website. The quilt that won for its category is done in the same fabric as mine. So different. The overall winner's quilt was very pretty.

Well it has been a while. Our lives have been crazy since the last part of the year to the current. We both had surgery. Darryl in Jan and I had surgery in March. Darryl has been trying to catch up with work and I have been helping him there. Our callings keep us busy. Darryl is still Stake Clerk. I got a new calling in Dec. I am the First Counselor in Primary now. That means more sharing times. When I was secretary I only had to do it when someone wasn't able. But thats ok. I am glad to be able to still be in primary and work with the kids.
