Things I have been doing

I don't even know where to begin.

Church: Our primary program is November 9th so we have begun practicing for that. I got the parts mailed out on General Conference weekend. Last Sunday was the first time we practiced in the chapel. The children did real good. Andrea has taught them the Chorus from "Called to Serve" in Spanish and Chinese. Chinese is a hard one but the kids have learned it really good.

Along with practicing we as a presidency are trying to get activities together for the Halloween Carnival on October 30th.

My husband has started to work on next years directory calendar and I have been helping him with that.

Personally: I started to work on quilts. I took a class for a beginners and it was really fun. So in September there was one for a square in a square. I signed up and didn't have much going on. The class is once a month. So September was not so bad but October was a little crazy.

Here is a picture of some of my squares. The one in the bottom right doesn't have the outer color yet.

And I still scrapbook too! I go to my consultants house to scrapbook. I would like to get to having some at my house again but there seems to be a lot activities planned when I think about it. I'm thinking maybe after the holidays.

Im so glad that you are blogging! I like your quilt square. Very nice.

I miss the Halloween carnival. (Not doing the food for it!) It is such a fun thing to do as a family. And the kids have a great time! Hope you don't drive yourselves crazy over it.

it looks like the ward is keeping you hopping. i wish we could come to the halloween carnival. our ward does a trunk or treat with chili and hot dogs, but i love all the carnival games and fun that pickering ward has always done.
